On the terraces of Chassis, a terroir of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation made of rolled pebbles, Yann Chave selects the parcels whose Syrahs, installed for more than fifty years, give the deepest and most velvety tannins to elaborate an identity cuvée which aims at the long term. Named Le Rouvre, this violet-colored cuvée offers an intense nose and opens with red and black fruits, and a fresh greediness in mouth. The spices develop in a beautiful harmony.
