With this small intimate palace in the fifth arrondissement, the decorating duo Les H\u00e9ritiers has signed its first Parisian address. <\/h4>\n\n

With La Lanterne, Les\nH\u00e9ritiers sign their first Parisian address. Nestled halfway between\nNotre-Dame and the Pantheon, in the heart of historical and intellectual Paris,\n“this small palace combines the intimacy of a house, the soul of an aesthete and the\nservices of a high-flying hotel,” explain the architects. <\/p>\n\n

Here, then, the pool\nfloats under the vaults, while the beautiful fabrics found in the\nantiques rub shoulders with contemporary art in a discreet elegance. Some\nwinks displayed by the decorators: here, the black and white photos\nof lanterns and lampposts in Paris, signed by the photographer Nicolas\nS\u00e9n\u00e9gas, are printed on wallpaper to add to the depth of the\nfield of the rooms of the establishment; there, drawings of nudes of workshops\ntypical of the artistic Saint-Germain or old engravings painted in\nthe hand. And, framed throughout the establishment, lettering\nthe walls. <\/p>\n\n

Like a\nhouse of great standing, La Lanterne has been refurbished, after a\nyear and a half of work, around multiple spaces to live in order to offer\nmore than the simple comfort of a room and the permanence of a reception.\nTo this end, Les H\u00e9ritiers, namely Pierre Dubois and Aim\u00e9 C\u00e9cil, have imagined\ndifferent small lounges: one, near the entrance, friendly ;\nthe other, inspired by the 50’s, discreet and dedicated to reading\nChinese, independent, ideal for meetings. At the same time, a\nbreakfast and a bar follow the tempo of the different moments of the day.\n<\/p>\n\n

Works of art are omnipresent, alongside symbols and the know-how of French artisans: fashionable engravings from the 1900s, oil paintings from Montmartre, a pair of bull’s-eyes from a Versailles mansion, a collection of ceramics made with the Buffil studio in the south of France… As for the mirrors, they adorn the rooms as much as the common areas, “to create leaks, perspectives and notions of space,” according to Les H\u00e9ritiers.<\/p>\n\n

At La Lanterne, 42 rooms from 16 to 35 m2 constitute the traditional offer. Three rooms with private terrace, four with garden and two duplexes for families complete the proposal.
