This year, <strong>the galette des Rois from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boulangerie-bretteau.fr\/\">Bretteau<\/a><\/strong>, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary on Avenue de la Motte-Piquet, will be <strong>classic, gourmet and generous<\/strong>. S\u00e9bastien Bretteau, who runs <strong>the Parisian bakery in the 7<sup>th<\/sup> arrondissement,<\/strong> wants to celebrate <strong>Epiphany<\/strong> &#8211; on Wednesday, January 6, editor&#8217;s note &#8211; with a galette made with a gourmet frangipane made with <strong>almonds mixed daily<\/strong>, and a flaky pastry richly buttered with <strong>Montaigu AOP Charentes-Poitou butter.<\/strong> A frank rasp of cold embellishes the cake and comes to heighten the aromas. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lhonoremagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Capture-de&#x301;cran-2020-12-07-a&#x300;-13.08.17-1-1160x752.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-30492\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>On sale from January 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 31, 2021 in the two boutiques of the house<\/strong> &#8211; Boulangerie Bretteau, 31 avenue de la Motte-Piquet; Du pain et vous, 63 avenue Bosquet &#8211; and available for delivery, these galettes contain original beans from a drawing contest held with the kindergarten class of the La Rochefoucauld school, a stone&#8217;s throw from the stores.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bretteau bakery, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, will offer throughout the month of January a traditional and gourmet galette des Rois.
